Some Retirement Pensions Will be Paid in Advance in December, and You May be Affected

A payment four to seven days earlier
This information was spotted by the newspaper Notre Temps, Sunday 30th November 2025. If the advance does not concern everyone, people retired from the civil service are among the lucky ones.
Their pensions this year will be paid on the 23rd December, although they usually arrive between the 27th and the 30th, as we can read on the government website.
Territorial officials reporting to the National pension fund for local authority agents (CNRACL) will see their pension arrive on the 24th December. A payment again slightly in advance.
Other pensions don’t change anything
People subject to these two schemes are also entitled to a supplement, the RAFP. For the civil service, it does not change, and will fall on the 30th December. Unlike the complementary territorial RAFP which was exceptionally brought forward to the 24th December also, explains Notre Temps.
Concerning the basic private sector scheme, Retirement Insurance, the latter does not modify its calendar, and is paid at the end of the period concerned.
The payment schedule for the Agirc-Arrco supplement, which concerns private sector retirees, does not change either. The regime pays them pensions the 1st of each month (excluding public holidays and weekends) for the period concerned.
