Honda has listed the 127 most Beautiful Roads in Europe
As the Civic Type R, its legendary sports compact, prepares to leave the continent, Honda pays tribute to it by listing some of the most beautiful roads to drive it. A gift that is not reserved for Honda owners
The Honda Civic Type R is indeed a legend, which occupies a special place in the hearts of all driving lovers sporty. The current generation is largely up to its predecessors, but clearly not up to European environmental requirements. Honda has in fact announced that at the end of 2025, the model’s order books will be permanently closed.
To honor the European end of its icon, the manufacturer has imagined a farewell version, the aptly named “Ultimate Edition”. And to be able to make the most of this Type R, or another Honda, or any other car that is exciting to drive, Honda has thought of another gift.
Ten roads in France
We are talking about a gift, since access and use are absolutely free. Access to what? At the site hondadreamdrives.com, on which Honda lists 127 of the most beautiful roads, in 27 European countries. For example, there are ten in France, including one between Reims and La Mans, one in Corsica, and most in the Alps, obviously.
Mountain roads, coastal roads or forest roads, there are of course mythical places, such as the Stelvio pass in Italy or the famous Transfăgără˙an in Romania. You can find the ideal route either by selecting from a list of criteria or by clicking on the map of Europe. Then, a simple link allows you to encode the selected route in the app Google Maps. And off we go for the miles of happiness. Let’s hope that this site remains free forever, and that the list is further enriched over the months.
