A road accident occurred Saturday a little before noon in the town of Roumazières, between a Volvo car and an Audi, at the crossroads of rue du 8 mai and rue de l’hermitage. More spectacular than serious, fortunately, there were no injuries.
The two drivers escaped with great fright. The first, aboard a Volvo, arrived from the road to Manot. The second, a resident of Roumazières came from the rue de L’Hermitage. At first glance, it seems that the driver of the Audi has not, for an indefinite reason, respected the stop at the corner of the village hall. In the violence of the shock, the Volvo found itself on the roof completely crushed.
On-site, firefighters in the Roumazières and Saint-Claud centres made sure of the good health of the drivers who did not need transportation to a hospital centre.
The gendarmes of Roumazières brigade community ensured the traffic in rotation, the time for the garage Voisin Coculet to evacuate the most damaged vehicle.
