The warm weather continues over the weekend for Lorient and the surrounding area with plenty of sunshine and a feeling of Spring according to the latest forecast as the strong anticyclone on the Atlantic continues to reject the ocean rains coming from Scotland.

Saturday

Sunny morning with high altitude clouds and a rapid rise of temperatures. Nice feeling of softness at midday with fine sails of altitude. In the afternoon, the powerful anticyclone focused on Brittany which generates a generous sun of Groix and the coastline in the country of Plouay via Lorient, is embellished with very high altitude sails with sensation post summer. Moderate morning wind (gust 3, gusts 20-30 km/h, 30-40 on exposed shoreline) weakening slightly in the afternoon. From Kerroc’h to Guidel-Plages: west swell 1 m. Min: 9 / 10 degrees; max: 19 / 20 degrees (from 8 / 9 degrees to 19 / 20 degrees north of Gestel-Lanester-Kervignac). Clear sky with increasing north-easterly winds (gusts 35-45 km/h) generating a cool sensation; 15 degrees at 8pm and 11 degrees at midnight.

Clear sky at dawn preceding a beautiful sunny morning with rapid rise of mercury preceding a very mild mid-day under a bright sun. In the afternoon, the anticyclone which is strengthened on the Atlantic center generates an afternoon under an ubiquitous sun from the coast to the hills of the Black Mountains via the country of Lorient under a great feeling of sweetness post summer. Wind northeast, moderate in the morning, weak in the afternoon. From Kerroc’h to Guidel-Plages: west swell <1 m. Min: 8 / 9 degrees, max: 20 / 21 degrees; (from 7 / 8 degrees to 20 / 21 degrees° north of Gestel-Lanester-Kervignac). Clear skies in the evening with a strong north-east wind (gusts 40-50 km / h); 15 degrees at 8pm and 10 degrees at midnight.
