Brittany: A Fire Ravages a Butchers in Erquy

The butcher's shop on Foch Street in downtown Erquy is closed following a fire.

The fire took in the butcher’s shop in Erquy (Brittany) on Thursday 19th July, 2018 at 8.30 pm. Nearly 25 firefighters were mobilized.

The fire broke out around 20 pm 30. The fire left the laboratory of butchery , located Foch Street in the center of Erquy (Brittany).

The artisan’s butcher shop, an enclosed space of 20 m², was touched. In total, nearly 25 firefighters went on site.

Two evacuees

In the building, two people were evacuated from the floors. Two men, aged 57 and 63 years old.

The business employing five people will have to stay closed for several weeks. The employees are therefore unemployed.
