The new Bullitt Mustang, tribute to the 1968 version of Bullitt, will be distributed in Europe. She will be in French Ford showrooms at the end of the summer, from € 54,900.
Just fifty years ago the film Bullitt was released in American cinemas. The most famous history chase in a film where Steve McQueen is driving a Mustang Fastback GT 1968 is now part of the cult scenes of the 7th art. In France, the film was released in March of the following year, bringing together more than 3 million viewers.
To honor him, Ford have just created and launched the Mustang Bullitt, with just 82 vehicles planned for France, it will be available from September 2018.
This new Ford Mustang Bullitt is available to order now. Exclusively available in a 6-speed manual transmission with a bakelite-style white shift knob, the Bullitt Mustang is powered by a 5-litre V8 delivering 460 hp and 529 Nm of torque.

Available in just two colours, black “Shadow Black” and the original green “Dark Highland Green”, the Mustang Bullitt has 19-inch specific rims and calipers Brembo red brake calipers, a specific grille rimmed in chrome, as well as several Bullitt badges adorning the interior and exterior of the vehicle.
Inside the car, you’ll find the new 12-inch LCD digital instrumentation of the all-new Mustang, customized with a specific Bullitt animation. The premium B & O Play audio system, which powers the new Mustang Bullitt, has a power of 1,000 watts thanks to its 12 loudspeakers of exceptional quality … it’s a dream!
