Easter Egg hunts are held in many municipalities of Seine-et-Marne for Easter. Our selection.
This year at Easter, Vaux-le-Vicomte invites its visitors to find in its French garden the colored eggs that Madame la Comtesse needs to prepare her famous cake … Topped with Chef’s hats, young and old will have to take the steps of a treasure hunt, the final test of which will be an egg hunt! Makeup, pony rides, animations and riddles will also be needed to complete this day with the family.
For three days, from 10.30am to 5.30pm, competitions combining speed, dexterity and skill await apprentices cooks in the 33 hectares of French garden of Le Nôtre. By completing the three activities of a great treasure hunt, the children will recover the eggs to complete the recipe of the famous chocolate cake of the Countess of Vogüé: Suave. It is at the end of this first animation that the children will be able to reach the final stage of the egg hunt, promising a chocolate booty to all the participants! Pasquier brioches will also be distributed to children to encourage them during these challenges.
Adventure courses, sports and fun, will be divided by age to suit everyone.
For the first time this year, all egg hunts will be spread out in places that are usually inaccessible to the public: the vegetable garden (for 2-4 year olds), the Marechale grove (5-7 years old) and the paw for goose (8-14 years), and Alexander’s parterre (for adults).
Adults will also have their own hunt and will be able to win chocolate eggs. The quickest and cunning, finding the golden egg, will win, in addition, tickets for the famous candlelit evenings of the castle! (2 tickets to be won by adult egg hunt / departure every hour so 7 hunts a day)
