The 3rd edition of “Go to the gardens” whose theme is “Sharing the Garden” takes place Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th June 2017. In Laval, the garden of Perrine are provided lots of free activities to of all.
The visits
Guided tours: show up at the entrance of the garden of Perrine at the pool 5 minutes before the start of each visit (limited numbers). See you on Saturday and Sunday at 3pm (duration: 1 hour 30). Accompanied by a professional green areas of the city of Laval, discover this garden and its many facets: the park brings together “gardens” of different designs and varied rich vegetation. Also discover our plants embankments and walls with Marie Girard, agronomist and ethno-botanist (Saturday and Sunday at 3.30pm; duration: 1 hour).
Guided tours: every tree that has particular interest is signaled by an information panel. As for the proper management of gardens, thematic information boards have been installed.
Art in the garden
Butterfly Wings Saturday and Sunday from 2pm to 6pm. Come to this ephemeral work: a collective creation that gives rise to the flight of butterflies signed dozens Elodie Grondin artist.
Floral Saturday and Sunday from 2pm to 6pm: elaborate bouquets with originality. Saturday and Sunday from 15 am to 15 h 45: Introductory workshop led by Marie-Madeleine Raimbault, Bourny of the animation committee.
Dance performance Sunday at 3pm and 4pm. The JIT movement, resistance to letting go, the wire is woven, the time for a moment to the garden (adult contemporary dance group and departmental radiation Conservatory Laval).
Insects and small animals from our gardens. Giant insects take place in the garden. An action with recycled objects in the context of stopping the use of pesticides to preserve insects.
Corner families
Croque Perrine samedi at 2.30pm, 3pm and 4.15pm. Discover and chew a mysterious object from Japan with Christine Ravary, professor at the school of arts. Starting from 7 years old ; appointment at the basin level 5 minutes before the start of the session; Gauge limited to 15 people; materials provided.
Workshop potting Sunday from 3pm to 6pm. A small pot, potting soil … and every child will leave with his small plant at home.
The relaxation garden Saturday and Sunday from 2pm to 6pm: Picnic on the available tables and chairs, lawn permitted south of the garden, garden furniture presentation (chair, table …), composting, insect house, etc. To realize oneself from recycled items.
The fun and educational garden
Mulching, shredding and composting Saturday and Sunday from 2pm to 6pm. Sheets tips for gardeners, themed games composting, mulching for children, promotion of grinding waste collection and information about the grant to purchase a composter (25 €) and short films on composting practices and mulching.
Gardening tips Saturday and Sunday from 2pm to 6 pm. Memory wheel and questions about predators, disease, aids the garden. Games for children and adults.
The fascinating world of bees Saturday and Sunday from 2pm to 6pm Presentation of beekeeping and its products, transparent hive, honey tasting and sale.
