Near Rouen: The Rubis Oil Depot is blocked

No truck could not get in and out of the Rubis oil depot near Rouen on Tuesday 30th May. The blocking was initiated at the night.

Around 3 am on Tuesday 30th May, launched a road blockade of the Rubis oil depot, located in Grand-Quevilly, near Rouen (Seine-Maritime). This follows the strike of truck drivers specialized in the transport of dangerous goods. Until then, the movement essentially concerned Paris.

At the call of the CGT, some strikers blocked any entry of trucks on the site which no Rouen liter of fuel could go out on Tuesday morning. Blocking should be lifted in mid-day, before a possible renewal of the movement decided in the afternoon.

For its part, the French Union of Petroleum Industries wants to be reassuring. “We will certainly fuel, assured yesterday Marc Granier, delegate for Normandy. Motorists should behave normally and do not panic. “
