A two-seater light aircraft disappeared on Friday night between the Savoie and Haute-Savoie. The Sater plane (air-land rescue) was immediately triggered, indicated the Haute-Savoie prefecture.
The precise location of the accident is unknown
“The last location of the plane is the in southern Haute-Savoie department but the signal from the aircraft beacon can not be received and there is no precise geographical location scouting,” said AFP Prefecture, confirming information from the daily Le Dauphine Libere .
Air identification resumed on Saturday morning to locate the two-seater. Also according to the local daily, land relief are being deployed on the west face of Mount Trélod and side of Jarsy.
The plane would have disappeared in an area east of La Sambuy station between Faverges and Albertville. A particularly rugged area, where the search may be difficult.
