From yesterday, the Quimper-London flights resumed for the season from Pluguffan Airport. Up to four flights per week will be provided to the English capital.
Despite the rain at the start and the cancellation of the flight to Paris an hour later, on Thursday, 3.55pm, the first flight of the season to London took place at Pluguffan Airport. Launched in 2012 and carried just 2500 passengers in the first year, has now proved successful, reaching 4500 passengers, with an occupancy rate of 70% last year.
From Quimper, the planes landed passengers at London city airport, in the heart of the city.
Saving time
On Thursday, Marine, a young Finisterian went through the doors of boarding. “I work in London and I rarely returned to France. With this connection I save a lot of time. Otherwise, I would have had to Quimper-Paris train and Paris-London Eurostar or plane “, she explains.
