Police ​​this morning made twenty arrests after incidents in five lycees in the Hauts-de-Seine.  A Courbevoie, in the western suburbs of Paris, dozens of young people started burning garbage just before 8am, around vocational school Paul Painlevé, told a teacher at this school of 520 students. “They searched the bins for glass bottles, so that they could throw at the windows or the front of the estblishment.  They also took about ten kilos of pebbles found in the clinic’s yard opposite “ , he recounted.  In total 23 windows were damaged. Classes were suspended.

Several blocking attempts

According to the Academy of Versailles, blocking attempts were also reported in the Hauts-de-Seine to Galilee colleges (Gennevilliers), Maupassant (Colombes), Newton and Auffray (Clichy) .In the Val-d’Oise, the Rostand secondary school (Saint-Ouen-l’Aumône) came under various flying objects.  The property blockade was lifted in the morning.

Several were still in police custody at midday, awaiting questioning.  On Tuesday, violence erupted in Lycee De Vinci of Levallois-Perret, whose frontage had been partially damaged by trash fires.
