Lots of rain, and heavy amounts of snow above 1500 meters Meteo France placed four departments Southwest orange vigilance “rain-floods” from Wednesday, 4:00 am: the Pyrenees -Atlantiques, Hautes-Pyrénées, Haute-Garonne and the Ariege.

The weather forecasting centre, Meteo France announces “a remarkable rain-snowfall event” that will end no earlier than Thursday at 7:00. Precipitation will begin in the western Pyrenees, before spreading to the entire chain Wednesday around midday.
Between 30 and 50 mm of rain on the plain, but the accumulated rainfall could surpass locally 100-120 mm in the Pyrenees-Atlantiques and Hautes-Pyrenees
