REMEMBRANCE: Special service in Congrier for Armistice day …
Earlier today I went to Congrier for the Armistice Ceremony.
There was a special mass in the church with all the local veteran associations and communes represented by their flag bearers, and the local children were also actively involved in the special service also.
Special hymns and songs were sung and played to help commemorate the special day of remembrance
of the many who lost their lives in the Great War of 1914-18, and to all that have also lost their lives in wars since then.
It was a very moving and special mass, and was glad I attended.
