28 departments are placed on orange alert to thunderstorms this Tuesday

This Tuesday 5th June, Meteo France has placed 28 departments in eastern, central and southern France on orange alert because of a new stormy episode. The forecasts.

France does not have time to recover from a stormy episode, a new land. This Tuesday 5th June,  28 departments of Normandy, East, Central and South, were placed on orange alert , said Meteo France in its latest bulletin vigilance .

These are Ain, Allier, Aveyron, Corrèze, Creuse, Dordogne, Isère, Loire, Lot, Lot-et-Garonne, Puy-de-Dôme, the Rhone, Tarn, Tarn-et-Garonne and Haute-Vienne. At 10.15am, Meteo France added  Aube, Aude, Cantal, Côte-d’Or, Doubs, Jura, Marne, Haute-Marne, Nièvre, Haute-Saône, Saône- and Loire and Yonne.



“The stormy situation is again very active,” says Météo France. From this afternoon, thunderstorms will be rainy from Southwest to Northeast. In the Eure, the rain is always very abundant.

Thunderstorms all over the country

Since mid-May a stormy wave has affected all regions. This weekend it fell on Brittany, which was particularly affected, including Morlaix where it fell a month of rain fell in 30 minutes !
