Administrative searches led to seize 17 weapons in the region …
Under the state of emergency just after the attacks in Paris last November, eight people are still under house arrest in Brittany and Loire-Atlantique, including three in Ille-et-Vilaine. Information known to be close to extremist circles, these individuals must report to the police station several times a day.
Since the 16th November, 135 administrative searches were conducted in five departments, 22 of which were positive. 17 weapons were also seized during the searches. On the occasion of the Cop21 Climate Change conference held in early December in Paris, five far-left activists had also been placed under house arrest in Brittany. This measure was lifted on December 12.
