Explosions were heard near the Stade de France and shooting broke out in several places in the capital. There are at least 40 dead.
There has been a series of attacks around Paris this evening with gunfire and explosions being reported.
A shootout erupted this evening, Friday at around 9.30 pm, in a restaurant of the tenth arrondissement of Paris, rue Bichat and the corner of the rue Alibert. Several people have died and there would be at least seven injured. The shooters are on the run.
A second shooting also hit the district Bataclan, Boulevard Voltaire in the eleventh arrondissement.In front of the Bataclan theater, where played the Eagles of Death Metal, a gunman opened fire on the crowd. Six bodies were lying on the ground rue Charonne.
A third shooting incident also occurred in the same area.
Three explositions around the Stade de France
Meanwhile three explosions were heard between 9.17pm and 9.21pm, near the Stade de France where the Blues met Germany in a friendly match. The explosions were felt from the stands but the match was not stopped.
The president, Francois Hollande, watching from the grandstand, was evacuated by the security service. A security cordon was set up around the area. According to the police headquarters, the attacks have killed at least eighteen dead. According to the first results of the police headquarters in Paris, three people were killed in explosions in the Stade de France in the sector and 15 died at the Bataclan.
The match was halted at 11pm, with the fans blocked inside the stadium and are grouped on the ground.
