Already present in Nantes Atlantic, Volotea will soon offer new destinations, this time from the airport Rennes Saint-Jacques.
The Rennes Airport reinforces its leisure offering with the arrival of Volotea, a new budget airline. The suspense of the proposed destinations will soon be over as on Thursday, October 1st, officials will announce the opening of new lines, and destinations.
Founded in 2012, this low cost airline Spanish company has its headquarters in Barcelona. In France, Nantes is one of its main operating bases, with no less than 21 destinations: six in France, seven in Spain, five in Italy, one in Germany, one in the Czech Republic and one in Croatia.
The arrival of Volotea will help broaden the appeal of the airport at Rennes, which already has several low-cost airlines like Flybe or of Vueling operating successfully. Last August, the airport of Rennes beat its attendance record with over 60,000 passengers over the month.
