The President of the Republic Emmanuel Macron will pay tribute to Jacques Chirac, died Thursday 26th September 2019 in the morning at the age of 86 years.
The head of state will speak in a televised address at 8 pm , broadcast from the Elysee Palace, according to several confreres. The Elysee has not yet expressed.

Debate on pensions maintained
Emmanuel Macron was to go to Rodez (Aveyron), to launch in the evening the national debate on pensions. This will take place, with the participation of Jean-Paul Delevoye, High Commissioner for pensions.
