Work will take place on the A84 for several weeks starting Monday 23rd September 2019. The access ramp of Bretteville-sur-Odon, near Caen will be closed.
Road closures, deviations, traffic disturbances will begin on the A84, day and night, from Monday 23rd September 2019. Estimated time by the Interdepartmental Directorate of North West Roads : “between 4 and 6 weeks. Signs indicating the night closure of the access ramp to the A84, near Bretteville-sur-Odon near Caen , were installed at the end of the week.
In the direction Caen-Rennes
This is work to renew the wearing course on the highway in the portion comprising the municipalities of Verson, Tourville-sur-Odon, Mondrainville and Grainville-sur-Odon.
“These works will be located on the A84 in the direction Caen – Rennes between the interchanges No. 9 Porte de Bretagne and No. 45 Monts-en-Bessin, explains the Dirno. This work will require a closure of the A84 in the direction of Caen-Rennes at the level of the interchange No. 9 Porte de Bretagne and, depending on the progress of the site, at the level of the interchange No. 48 Verson.”
Deviations
Deviations are put in place (see the plans).
To access the interchange No. 48 Verson via the RD675: go through the Verson Town and the RD147a.
To access the interchange n ° 45: join Monts-en-Bessin by RD147a, RD675 and RD92.
These traffic restrictions will be established at night and during the day, the roadway will be re-circulated on areas under construction. The speed will be limited to 70 km/h and overtaking of trucks will be prohibited.
