A Light aircraft missed its take off hitting three people on the ground. Five people were injured, three seriously.
Yesterday, Thursday, at around 12.30 pm, an accident involving a light aircraft in Saint-Brevin-les-Pins injuring five people in total.
After the small ultralight aircraft mis-judged and missed its takeoff from the base nearby, the plane with two occupants, hit the ground hitting three people who were waiting for another flight. These have multiple fractures. One of them suffering from a head trauma. At least one of the victims had to be airlifted.
The two occupants of the light aircraft were slightly wounded and shocked.
According to a preliminary examination of the scene available to the police, the accident could have been caused by a technical problem on the light aircraft, which was on its first flight.
