500 police and gendarmes mobilised
In terms of security, nearly 500 police and gendarmes were mobilised, and the latter received the reinforcement of two armoured vehicles, water cannons and a helicopter .

Drop in the number of arrests
Another figure down: the number of people arrested. On Saturday 11th May, 2019, on the occasion of Act 26, 20 people were arrested.
A week later, “only” five arrests were conducted for “possession of an electric impulse pistol, outrage, carrying weapons by destination and concealed face,” said the prefecture. No injuries are to be deplored , always according to the public authorities.
