The American giant of the Amazon distribution will abandon its lower tax regime of Luxembourg, to declare income in the UK, Germany, Spain, Italy and France, according to a statement sent to AFP earlier today, Tuesday.  The group will have to pay taxes in each country according to its national sales branches.

Amazon states that “since May 1,” it recognizes its sales in each of its national branches of four European countries and not from Luxembourg.  The group added that work is progressing on the opening of a subsidiary in France.
