Coca-Cola had already announced the end of August the acquisition of the British chain selling Costa coffee, paying 3.9 billion pounds.
Coca-Cola is looking to diversify even further as it has undergone changes in consumer habits in recent years that are unfavorable to sugar-sweetened beverages, including the fight of many governments against obesity.
