SNCF is counting on three TGV or Transilien out of five in circulation Saturday 19th May, as well as half of Intercités and two TER out of five.
The strike at the SNCF continues on Saturday 19th May, with three TGV or Transilien out of five, and half of the Intercity and TER two out of five, according to forecasts released Friday .
The tenth strike sequence since early April began Thursday night and will end Sunday morning, in the heart of the Pentecost weekend .
The forecasts for Saturday are better than those of Friday, where half of the TGV and Transilien were to circulate, as well as two TER or Intercités out of five.
Regarding TGVs, traffic forecast Saturday shows great disparities between the North (2 trains out of 5), East (4 out of 5), Southeast (2 out of 3) and Atlantic (7 out of 10). Three out of five trains are planned for the Ouigo low-cost offer.
The traffic is announced “almost normal” for Eurostar and Thalys.
In the Paris region, the RER A will not be affected by the social movement, according to the SNCF which however plans to cancel half of the trains on the B lines (North portion) and C.
There will be three trains out of five on the northern section of the RER D and, for the southern part, between two out of five (Corbeil branch) and three out of four (Melun branch). One third of the RERs will run on line E.
