The government UK said on Sunday that it will conclude with the European Union a new security treaty that would continue cooperation in the fight against crime and terrorism after Brexit, scheduled for March 2019.
“A treaty would provide a legal basis for further police cooperation, security and criminal after our EU output,” said the executive in a statement issued before the publication Monday of a working paper on the subject.

“Effective international cooperation is absolutely crucial for both the United Kingdom and the European Union if we want to keep our citizens safe and bring criminals to justice,” said David Davis, the Minister of Brexit in the press . “We already have an extensive level of cooperation with the EU on security issues and it is in our mutual interest to find ways to improve it,” he added.
