Second hospitalization for the singer. France Gall was admitted to the American Hospital in Neuilly-sur-Seine (Hauts-de-Seine) for a severe infection, announced Wednesday its Communications Officer Genevieve Salama, confirming a report in the magazine Ici Paris .
“In the interest of full transparency and to stop this onslaught, France Gall is advising his friends, his public and the media that it was indeed hospitalized due to severe infection and is currently neat” , said Genevieve Salama in a statement sent to AFP.
Little media appearances recently
The singer aged 70 was very little media appearances in recent months. After launching her musical resistant , it had been victim of an illness in February 2016 and had stayed at the same institution. Her production company had announced that France Gall had suffered a “drug intolerance.”
The singer of “Si maman si” was not present at the Madeleine for national tribute organised on the occasion of the death of Johnny Hallyday. France Gall was last seen at the 11th ceremony of the Crystal Globe at the Lido in Paris in January 2017, prior to this two months later at the inauguration of an exhibition dedicated to her friend Serge Gainsbourg.
