Dordogne: Diesel Fuel in the Unleaded Pump, Dozens of Faulty Cars

Local News
At Leclerc in Dordogne, Diesel was in the unleaded petrol pump

After Refueling at the Leclerc Station in Périgueux (Dordogne), dozens of motorists broke down between Thursday night and Friday morning

At least thirty motorists broke down between Thursday night and Friday morning after a full tank in a Leclerc station of Périgueux (Dordogne), reports France Bleu Perigord Saturday November 4th.

2000 liters of diesel fuel in the tank reserved for unleaded

The Tanker had mistakenly poured 2000 litres of diesel fuel in the tank for unleaded 95-E10. At least thirty customers have already come back to the Leclerc on Saturday morning because their car would not start. Many other drivers could be affected as all those who have refueled with the unleaded fuel between Thursday night and Friday morning in this region are concerned.

The company acknowledged its mistake

The management of Leclerc has recognized the mistake and offers customers that would have filled up between Thursday night and Friday morning to come to the Leclerc stores of Périgueux Trélissac. They will be forwarded to the insurance company, which recognizes the fault and should bear the costs of repair and refueling stops.
