Shakira announced on Thursday to nearly 45 million subscribers on her Twitter account of the release of El Dorado, on the 26th May. This will be the eleventh studio album by the Colombian singer aged 40 years, one of Latin artists who sold the most records in history.

A reference to his native Colombia
The title of this new album refers to the mythical city that the first Spanish explorers had tried to discover it centuries ago in his native Colombia.
As a prelude to this album, Shakira released last year a single, Chantaje , duet with Colombian singer Maluma, evoking desire and temptation. Its video was the video in Spanish to reach the faster 100 million views on Vevo.

A track dedicated to her husband
Last month, she launched a second piece, Me Enamore , marked by some reggae beats when she recalls her relationship with Spanish footballer Gerard Piqué , with whom she has two children.
Her last album released in 2014, in English and simply titled Shakira spoke of her motherhood.
The couple met while filming the video for Waka Waka, the official song of the World Cup in South Africa in 2010, won by the Spanish team which was evolved Piqué.
