The two finalists of the presidential election, Emmanuel Macron and Marine Le Pen, were invited by François Hollande to attend on Tuesday the national tribute to the policeman killed in the attack on the Champs-Elysees, said a spokesman for the head of state on Monday.
The tribute to Xavier Jugelé, killed on duty on the Champs-Elysee by a man claiming to be the Islamic state, will be on Tuesday at 11 am at the Paris Police Prefecture and will be chaired by the Head of State.
