Boxing: Anthony Joshua injured in road accident that leaves two dead in Nigeria

Winner of Jake Paul ten days ago in a fight-event set up by Netflix, Anthony Joshua was involved in a dramatic road accident in Nigeria, where he is currently on vacation. According to local media Punch, the British boxer was slightly injured, but two people were killed in a collision in the southwestern state of Ogun.
Investigation in progress
An investigation was opened by the police to determine the exact causes of the accident. According to information from Punch, the vehicle carrying Joshua reportedly collided with a truck parked on a busy highway.
Two-time world heavyweight champion Joshua sat in the back, behind the driver. “The passenger sitting next to the driver and the person sitting next to Joshua died instantly”, reported journalist Adeniyi Orojo, who witnessed the accident.
The boxer and another person were hospitalized and are being treated in a hospital whose name has been kept secret, Ogun State Police spokesman Oluseyi Babaseyi was quoted as saying by the Nigerian newspaper.
