Volkswagen T‑Roc R, the compact SUV that defies standards

AUTO: The Volkswagen T‑Roc R will make its return to the catalog with 333 horsepower, all-wheel drive and an intact sporty character!

Volkswagen ramp up with the T-Roc. The first generation had already surprised with a 300 hp gasoline engine and all-wheel drive, modeled on that of the Golf R and the old Tiguan R. The current version go up a notch again : 333 hp, 7-speed DSG gearbox, 4Motion transmission… Enough to go from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.8 seconds and make it the king of SUV on winding roads with its firmed chassis and “Race” driving mode.

Sportiness and everyday life: a delicate balance

On board, sports seats and digital handset underline the dynamic temperament of the vehicle. On the outside, the reworked shields, 19-inch rims and quadruple exhaust reflect sportiness without going overboard.

Thrill seekers can therefore turn to this R version which should arrive in 2027. The starting price would be around 48,000 euros, in the upper range of the category.
