MUSIC: The group, Take That will reform with Robbie Williams to sing for a good cause

Let fans of Take That rejoice:  Robbie Williams has confirmed his return to the band. However, this is not a permanent reunion, but the time of a very special concert.

Gary Barlow, Howard Donald, Mark Owen and Robbie Williams will sing together on May 29th in a virtual live for the benefit of two associations helping musicians and technicians of the show.

Jason Orange, who left the group in 2014, will not be part of the adventure.

“This is a world first for us! Find our old friend online for a unique performance! It’s always great to be with Robbie and we’re really excited to be part of this unique show that everyone can enjoy from home. We are also delighted to support Nordoff Robbins and Crew Nation around this show, two charities that we take to heart, “said Take That to the Sun.

As for Robbie Williams, who had to give up his residence in Las Vegas because of the pandemic, he is “really impatient” to find his colleagues from the beginning. “If we can’t go to the stadium … We will bring the stadium to us,” he added.

The concert is organized with the British price comparison site Compare the Meercat and will be broadcast on their YouTube and Facebook platforms at 9 p.m. French time.
