FIRE: A Tyre of a trailer catches fire on the RN10 at Roullet-Saint-Estèphe causing delays
This Wednesday 13th November, around 11.30am, the tyre of a truck trailer caught fire on the RN10, at Roullet-Saint-Estèphe, in the direction of Angoulême-Bordeaux. A bearing rubbed with the trailer wheel, causing it to ignite. On fire, the wheel was unhooked and finished on the aisle.
No casualties were reported. The truck driver of Transport DFL controlled his vehicle and stopped at the emergency stop zone. The small fire required the intervention of firefighters. For a little over half an hour, traffic was limited to one lane over a hundred metres.
