In Caen (Calvados), the inter-union national education calls for the strike Monday 17th June, the first day of the baccalaureate exams.
National movement, the strike in the national education of Monday 17th June 2019, will be followed in Caen (Calvados).
“The inter-union (SNES FSU, SNEP FSU, SNUEP FSU, CGT educ ‘action, SUD) calls the staff to go on strike on June 17, the first day of the baccalaureate exams,” says Sébastien Chieu of the CGT educ’ action.
The disturbed exam?
Will the movement impact the exam? “We do not think that the tests are disturbed,” tempered Sebastien Chieu. In this case, the heads of schools hosting the tests always provide additional staff.
1st strike of this type since 2003
Nevertheless, “this is the first strike exam since 2003,” says Sébastien Chieu. Proof according to him of:
“Concern and anger at the regressive reforms of high school and baccalaureate, the professional path, the so-called “trust” law and all the transformations of the education system imposed by the Minister.”
A rally will also be organized at 10 am on Monday 17th June 2019 at the rectorate of Caen.
