Sunday 30th December, 2018, a man who participated in a wild boar hunt in the Gers was seriously wounded by a bullet and was evacuated by helicopter to the hospital of Tarbes.
Sunday, December 30, 2018, around 16 hours, firefighters Gers intervened in the town of Juillac , near Marciac , following a hunting accident .
Seriously injured by a shot
According to Le Journal du Gers , the firefighters rescued a man who had been “seriously wounded by a bullet” . He was cared for and medicalised on the spot, then evacuated by helicopter on the hospital of Tarbes (Hautes-Pyrénées). Fortunately for this man, the bullet did not touch any vital organs.

According to preliminary evidence, the victim is a man who participated in a wild boar hunt and was in a fixed position with a friend when the accident occurred. An investigation was opened by the gendarmerie.
