Since last night, Saint-Malo faces violent showers. On the road, the situation is sometimes tense.
Since yesterday evening, Friday 8th June, 2018, violent showers are falling on Saint-Malo, making the traffic sometimes very complicated on the roads .
Including the N137, linking Saint-Malo to Rennes, where an imposing pool of water caused by these torrential rains formed at the barrier of Châteauneuf-d’Ille-et-Vilaine.
Two accidents – material and not serious – were reported at this place last night.
At the height of the storm last night, the traffic was running and some cars were temporarily stopped on the hard shoulder.
A tree lying on the road
A few kilometers from Chateauneuf, on the N176, in the Dol-Dinan direction, a tree was lying on the road this morning around 9 am and paralyzed the traffic on this axis.
Some floods in Saint-Malo
Saint-Malo side, firefighters have intervened three times since 6am this morning for floods. Last night, throughout the department, they intervened 70 times because of thunderstorms.

Remember that Brittany remains in orange vigilance until tonight and a recrudescence of thunderstorms is to be feared this Saturday afternoon on the north of Ille-et-Vilaine.
