A 6-year-old girl was fatally wounded by the fall of a tree branch in a park in Changé, near Laval (Mayenne) after severe thunderstorms
The storms which fell on Saturday 26th May on the west of France made a victim in Changé, near Laval in the Mayenne, reports the newspaper Ouest-France . It is about a 6-year-old girl : she was mortally wounded by the fall of a tree branch, in a park of the town.
Transported to the Laval hospital by firefighters “in a state of absolute urgency”, she died of her injuries, according to the prefecture of Mayenne, cited by our colleagues.
Judicial investigation in progress
“The circumstances of this tragic accident will have to be established by the judicial inquiry opened by the Laval public prosecutor’s office and entrusted to the departmental direction of the public safety”, specified the prefecture to Ouest-France .
