This Monday 8th January, the Châteaubriant Racecourse Métairie-Neuve will host its first races of the year for the first day of the winter meeting. The program includes seven trotting harness racing and mounted.
New year and new racing season that begins Monday with the first day of the winter meeting, reserved for trotters.
113 horses will start eight runs (seven horsed and rising).
In the main course: the Prix de Normandie (running on 3000 m endowed with 20,000 € for horses of 6 and 7 years) and Turf Price, the mounted trotting (race over 2400 meters, with 12,000 € for horses 4 years).
The start of racing is scheduled for 12.30pm and the starting signal for the first race will be given at 1pm.
