“The findings made of the body, at the scene, for criminal identification technicians were sent from yesterday in a forensic science laboratory. Their DNA operation confirms that the body found is that of Alexia Daval, the missing jogger from Gray,” said Emmanuel Dupic in a statement.
“The autopsy will take place Thursday at the Medico Legal Institute in Besançon. No communication will be made on its results in order to preserve the work of investigators”
The investigators deployed to great lengths to try to find the killer and prevent psychosis in the Gray area.
An autopsy is expected to know how the woman died, if it was an accident or murdered. The body was “deliberately burned by the offender” and transported to the wood Velet, where it was discovered Monday had said the magistrate by announcing the opening of a murder for instruction.

No suspects had been identified by Tuesday night.

Many questions are still unanswered. Did Alexia Duval follow a different route? Did she know her attacker? Where was she caught? Where was she killed? When and how ?
