The heatwave continues in the southeast of France. Meteo France has kept 13 departments orange alert. The drop in temperature is not expected until Sunday.

The maximum temperatures could rise on Thursday, up to 38 ° C inland in the southeast, with highs of 40 ° C on probable cities like Carpentras, Manosque or Sartene, says Meteo France in its Bulletin 6 pm.

The 13 departments affected by the orange alert are the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence, Hautes-Alpes, Alpes-Maritimes, Ardèche, Bouches-du-Rhone, the Corse-du-Sud Haute-Corse, Drôme, Gard, Isère, Rhône, Var and Vaucluse.



The heat wave continues Friday and Saturday also prevents national forecasting center. A drop in maximum temperatures is expected on Sunday.
