A man in his thirties has died in a road accident, in Carquefou, on the road between Angers and Nantes. His vehicle is embedded in a truck which had stopped.
The accident occurred around 1pm on Wednesday 8th March. A BMW 3 Series is hit the rear of a truck that had stopped near the roundabout of the Belle Etoile, in Carquefou.
The truck driver was finishing his break on a regulatory park on the side of the road from Angers to Nantes.
The driver, aged thirty years, did not survive. The truck driver was not injured. Traffic on this very dual carraigeway was slowed while emergency services attended the accident.
