Traffic was suspended around 3pm (Paris time) and the company has “no idea” on the time of resumption of traffic , said the spokesman. For its part, Eurotunnel said no train was blocked inside the tunnel.
No train inside the tunnel
There are no Eurostar or Eurotunnel shuttle inside the tunnel under the English Channel, said a spokesman for Eurotunnel, stating that traffic was interrupted “by way of security .”

According to this source, stopping traffic was due to “a power concern among a catenary and trains.” Eurotunnel teams are currently on site to inspect electrical installations of the tunnel, further stated the spokesman.
