Brexit: No appeal for Northern Ireland

Upper Northern Ireland Court of Justice on Friday rejected an appeal against the Brexit.  This is the first court in the UK on the challenge to the exit from the European Union.

Judge Paul Maguire found that the implications for Northern Ireland was still uncertain, while the process should take several years of negotiations. The plaintiffs argued that the territory had overwhelmingly voted against the Brexit and the EU’s release violated the 1998 peace agreements.
