Netflix turns its back on France. The video on-demand (VOD) platform is ready, according to L’Express , to close its Paris office and to transfer to the Netherlands, where taxation is less restrictive.  This information has been confirmed by the group.

Also according to the site, the US company will pay 600,000 euros in taxes in France since its installation in late 2014. Initially, Netflix enjoyed favourable terms because it was not subject to French law. But when she was Minister of Culture, Fleur Pellerin had demanded the end of this exceptional treatment.
