Labour Law: A Hundred Protesters in Laval

Local News
Students were out in force for the labour law protests in Laval

Last stand or new stage of the struggle? There were a hundred demonstrators, mostly young people, this Tuesday, 3rd May before the town hall.

Early Tuesday morning, a group of high school students and students went around to schools and made a stop at the prefecture, which was well guarded by the gendarmes.

By late morning, they joined up with other opponents, at rue 11 Novembre, answering the call from the unions to show to the political parties their hostility to El Khomri bill, also known as the labour Law, which will change workers rights in France, which is starting to be discussed by the politicians today at the National Assembly.
