Several thousand people gathered, in Laval, this Thursday, March 31, to protest against the proposed El Khomri law.
In Laval, the appointment was given at 10.30am. Students and pupils have publicised well in advance this time for Thursday, March 31, to demonstrate against the El Khomri Law, the new proposed Labour Law which will affect workers and their rights in France. The main trade unions are also on site. Around 11 am, the spirits of the demonstrators began to heat up when the procession headed towards the Prefecture.
The protesters tried to push the security gates installed outside the prefecture. They ask to meet with the prefect.
