An accidental fire destroyed a barn through the night in Renazé. The material damage is very intensive
It was 4.30am on Saturday morning when the fire broke out at a farm at Sainte-Marie in Renazé. Large flames that destroyed the entire agricultural building of 1,000 m2 as well as 50 tons of hay and two tractors stored inside.
Fortunately the building was isolated, away from the rest of the farm, so although the damage was extensive and costly, it was contained to just the one barn. Firefighters intervened overnight and returned this morning to make sure the fire was completely extinguished.
