Four people were arrested on Tuesday in the Brittany and Paris regions of France. They are suspected of involvement in the robbery of the Crédit Mutuel de Bretagne Bank situated in Paimpol in Côtes d’Armor in 2013. On the night of August 12th to 13th, following the Sea Shanty Festival, the perpetrators had got hold of over 560,000 euros.
During questioning on Tuesday, the gendarmes of the research section of Rennes and Lannion Robbery Brigade seized 252,000 euros in cash. On the 3rd February, six people had been arrested in Brittany in connection with this matter, regarded by investigators as a “top burglary.”
