It has been confirmed that seven ducks have been found with the strain of H5N1 (Bird Flu) near Lyon. The news, which has been feared for many months, triggered the pre planned response, that a 3km protection zone and a 10km surveillance zone has been set up around the infected area. On a Wider Scale throughout France, there has been restictions placed on the movement of Live Birds and all Poultry now has to be kept indoors.
